Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. As per NMC (National Medical Commission) regulations effective 2020, Indian students must have a valid NEET qualifying score to gain admission to any foreign medical university and to appear for the FMGE/NExT screening exam after returning to India. However, there is no NEET cut-off rank requirement — you only need a qualifying score.
Yes, provided the university is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and recognised by the NMC (formerly MCI). All our 9 partner universities meet this requirement. After completing MBBS, you must clear FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) or the upcoming NExT exam to register with NMC and practise in India.
The complete process from your first enquiry to your departure to Russia typically takes 30–45 days. This includes document preparation, university application, offer letter, invitation letter, visa processing, and flight booking. We recommend starting the process by April–May to ensure a September intake.
All our partner universities offer MBBS programmes entirely in English — lectures, practicals, clinical rotations, and examinations. You do not need to know Russian at the time of admission. However, you will learn basic Russian during a mandatory Russian language module in the first year, which is useful for communication with patients during clinical rotations.
All our partner universities provide university-managed, fully-secured hostels on or near campus. Facilities include 24/7 security, CCTV surveillance, Indian wardens, common kitchens where students can cook Indian food, Wi-Fi, and study rooms. Many hostels have a dedicated Indian Student Association that helps newcomers settle in quickly.
Living costs are very affordable compared to India's metro cities. On average, Indian students spend ₹60,000–80,000 per year on food (Indian grocery stores are available in most cities), ₹15,000–20,000 on transport, and ₹5,000–10,000 on personal expenses. University hostel charges are ₹70,000–1,00,000 per year. Total living cost: ₹1.5L–2.1L per year.
Russian student visas (D-type) generally do not permit paid employment. However, some universities allow students to work within the university campus as teaching assistants or in the library. We recommend focusing entirely on studies, especially in the first 3 years which are academically intensive.
The national FMGE pass rate averages 15–25%. However, students from NMC-recognised Russian universities with dedicated FMGE preparation achieve significantly higher rates. We provide structured FMGE coaching starting from Year 4, including a question bank, mock tests, and mentoring from doctors who cleared FMGE after studying in Russia. Our students consistently outperform the national average.
Yes, Russian universities allow students to appear for re-examination (supplementary exams) if they fail a subject. If a student fails in multiple subjects, they may be required to repeat the academic year. We advise students to take academics seriously and connect with our counsellors early if they face academic difficulties. We provide academic guidance and connect struggling students with senior tutors.
Our counselling and eligibility check are completely free. We charge a one-time service fee that covers complete document handling, university application, invitation letter processing, visa guidance, flight booking assistance, and airport pickup coordination. The service fee is transparent and disclosed upfront before any commitment. Contact us for the current fee structure — there are no hidden charges.
